  "Reintroduction of the Brown-headed Nuthatch to the Missouri Ozarks" Presentation by Kristen Heath-Acre, Wildlife Ecologist and Ornithologist with the Missouri Department of Conservation. In 2020 and 2021, conservation partners moved 102 brown-headed nuthatches from Arkansas to restored shortleaf pine woodland in southern Missouri. Join us to learn more about this ongoing project.
