Yes, in JUNE and on a Thursday evening. The program "Protecting Birds by Restoring Grasslands." Grassland birds and other wildlife are the focus of an exciting new initiative – National Audubon Society’s Conservation Ranching Program. Dinner will feature grass-fed beef sourced from Dave Haubein’s Audubon-certified ranch in southwest Missouri and sold by retailer Jake Davis, owner of the mid-Missouri based Root Cellar. Roger Still, a former Audubon executive who works on projects related to food and nature globally, will talk with Dave and Jake about the way dinner tables across America can help save our grassland birds.
