Field Trip: Clinton Lake / Bloomington Beach

Thursday, August 27 @ 7:30 am. We’ll spend the morning looking for gulls, shorebirds, and other fall migrants. Meet at the Bloomington Beach parking lot at 7:30 a.m. If the beach gate is locked, proceed left to the boat ramp parking lot, and we will walk to the beach. Though expecting to end by 11:00 am, this trip may be extended, depending on what we find. Bring all the usual gear: binoculars, spotting scopes, water, snacks, field guides, etc. You will need to purchase a park day pass if you do not have one. All ages and levels of birding experience are welcome. We will have a couple of pairs of binoculars to loan, if needed.
