SUMMARY:Field Trip: Clinton Lake / Bloomington Beach
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, August 27 @ 7:30 am. We’ll spend the morning looking for gulls\, shorebirds\, and other fall migrants. Meet at the Bloomington Beach parking lot at 7:30 a.m. If the beach gate is locked\, proceed left to the boat ramp parking lot\, and we will walk to the beach. Though expecting to end by 11:00 am\, this trip may be extended\, depending on what we find. Bring all the usual gear: binoculars\, spotting scopes\, water\, snacks\, field guides\, etc. You will need to purchase a park day pass if you do not have one. All ages and levels of birding experience are welcome. We will have a couple of pairs of binoculars to loan\, if needed.
