Burroughs Audubon Society of Greater Kansas City (BAS) is a gateway natural history organization that seeks to connect people with nature through the study and appreciation of wild birds. The positive field experiences and educational programs we provide will equip participants with basic tools to understand and value their local environment, with further goals of fostering an appreciation of humankind’s impact on larger ecosystems and a personal commitment to working toward solutions that will preserve our global environmental heritage.
